What is the World Collection?
Littl's World Collection puts art traditions from India and around the world on double face satin ribbon: Pichwai (Pichrang), Rajasthani miniatures, the Indian peacock, Mughal jaal and jaali, Diwali prints, Japanese cranes and ginkgo, French toile, the Greek key and Art Deco, English garden florals and kids' prints.
Do World Collection ribbons have a coloured back?
Most World prints have a solid colour back that goes with the print, for example Peacock Lotus has a teal green back, so a bow shows two colours. Classic Pichrang prints have a clean white back. Each product page names its back colour.
What size are World Collection ribbons?
World prints are 1 inch (25 mm) wide with 19 m on each roll. Some Pichrang prints also come in 1.5 inch (38 mm).
What is Pichwai art?
Pichwai is a traditional painting style from Nathdwara in Rajasthan: large cloth paintings hung behind the image of Shrinathji (Krishna), full of lotus flowers, cows and peacocks. Pichrang is Littl's range of Pichwai-inspired ribbons.
